The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has a Turnaround Scheduler/Coordinator position available in Parkersburg, WV. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Operations function. This position will report to the TAR Leader.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Turnaround pre-planning responsibilities:

o Facilitate cross-functional scope reviews with production areas to initiate the planning process.

o Lead scheduling efforts of major bi-annual turnarounds as well as smaller annual outages.

o Lead contingency planning sessions with cross-functional core teams

o Build a resource leveled and time distributed turnaround schedule for the Monomer operating unit.

  • Turnaround execution responsibilities:

o Make daily progress updates to the Monomer outage schedule.

o Routinely monitor critical path and make scheduling conflicts/issues visible to the team.

o Assist in problem solving sessions when deviations to schedule occur.

In order to be qualified for this role, you /must possess/ the following:

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Previous experience in maintenance planning and/or scheduling

  • Up to 10% travel

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work with a diverse population of employees.

  • Strong computer skills including MS Office (specifically proficient in Excel application).

  • Experience with SAP PM Module or another similar CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

  • Experience in setting and/or maintaining meaningful metrics to drive improvement.

The following skill sets are /preferred/ by the business unit:

  • Associates or higher degree in engineering, operations management, or related discipline OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in process manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working with and understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and High Hazard Processes.

  • 2+ years’ experience as a maintenance planner.

  • 1+ years’ experience scheduling in Primavera P6 or a similar Project Management Software (PMS)

  • Six Sigma Black or Green Belt Certification.
