Chemours Assurance Services Data Analytics Spring/Summer Co-Op in Wilmington, Delaware

The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has an Assurance Services Data Analytics Co-Op position available in Wilmington, DE. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Finance function. This position will report to the Assurance Senior Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist the Senior Assurance Analytics Specialist in preparing data requests and extracting data from business systems, then transform, cleanse, map, and prepare data for analysis

  • Interpret results of data analytics and document and communicate information in a clear and concise manner to the Assurance Services team, as well as audit clients

  • Interface with executive, administrative, line management, and other sources to obtain relevant information and documents

  • Prepare metrics, charts, and graphs for Assurance Services function progress/status reports and Audit Committee presentations

  • Handle ad hoc projects confidentially and with critical deadlines

  • Assist in various administrative tasks and responsibilities assigned by Senior Assurance Specialists and Assurance Senior Manager(s), including use of TeamMate (internal audit management and work paper system) and SharePoint systems

In order to be qualified for this role, you /must possess/ the following:

  • Enrolled in an accredited higher education institution. Graduation date must follow the conclusion of the internship/co-op cycle

  • Minimum 2 years toward Bachelors degree

  • High proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, QlikSense, QlikView, ACL)

  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels

  • Basic understanding of finance and/or internal audit concepts

  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the U.S. without restriction
