Chemours Business Strategy Consultant Summer Intern in Wilmington, Delaware

Chemours is seeking a Business Strategy Consultant Intern to join our growing Fluoroproducts team! This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Global Strategy & Business Operating Systems in our Wilmington, DE location and will work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week from May-August.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supporting the Fluoroproducts global strategy team to gather, analyze, and prepare information to support key business initiatives.

  • Supporting the work to identify value chain drivers within markets / industries and adjacent to Fluoroproducts’ core businesses to understand potential sources of profitable growth, evaluate potential M&A targets, and alternative business model options

  • Supporting the work to assimilate competitive, industry and market intelligence on Fluoroproducts’ industry suppliers, competitors, and customers to provide leadership with a deep understanding of its competitive position, strengths, opportunities, and vulnerabilities.

In order to be qualified for this role, you /must possess/ the following:

  • Current enrollment at an accredited university as a sophomore or above

  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills, exhibited in the ability to assemble information into high-level presentations

  • Ability to communicate and listen to diverse audiences. Comfortable proactively contacting people.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel

  • Ability to work independently and seek direction as needed.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

The following skill sets are /preferred/ by the business unit:

  • Previous internship or co-op experience in chemicals industry

  • 3.5 GPA or above

  • Business Analysis: strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
